For the third time this month Vonage customers experienced another outage. From the east to the west coast Vonage customers were unable to access the Vonage website or use their phone service.
Vonage has not indicated what caused the outage the past two times but we can only assume it is the same reason as the first; a routing issue. With competition in the VoIP Market Vonage has little room for error and this month has been disinterest for Vonage.
I have spoken with a few Vonage customers who are furious and wish to change their service. Also 911 problems continue to plaque Vonage some customers are forwarded to the wrong PSAP.
Is Vonage Doomed? Only time will tell but if this month has been any indication it very well may be.
At the time of this articles publish some customers are still experiencing problems using their Vonage Phone service. Vonage was unavailable for comment as their 800 number just rang busy.
