This past Black Friday, Microsoft ran a promo I told you guys about on their Live Cashback Site. The promo offered 40% cash back on all of your HP purchases during a 12 hour period on Black Friday.

Well just like the Dr. Pepper debacle, Microsoft couldn’t handle the demand, their server began to act funky and people were unable to take advantage of the promotion they promised to them.

HP who had no part in the promotion, just that they were the company Microsoft offered the promotion with felt bad at this, and sources from both HP and Microsoft had told me they were working on a deal to bring back the offer, and from my understanding HP was even going to help out.

How ever Microsoft has officially given everyone who missed out on the offer a big “F*#@ You” on their official cashback blog, and said they will not offer the 40% discount again.

Come on Microsoft, you F*#@’ed this up and you need to fix it. Your new model is “Life with out walls” yet you are putting up a bit wall this Holiday Season by not correcting your mistakes this past black Friday and giving people the chance to take advantage of an offer you promised them.

This is exactly why a lot of people have lost trust in Microsoft.

This had angered me. I tried for nearly seven hours to buy some notebooks for my kids Christmas and each time it failed.

Bah Humbug Microsoft and HP

Poor judgment on Microsofts part. But at the end of the day this is all about money.
