New York City is known as the Big Apple, and we New Yorkers are proud of that, and recently our City started something called “GreeNYC”.
GreeNYC is a program that NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg hopes will help reduce carbon emissions by 30% by the year 2030. The programs website offers tips to NYC Citizens on how they can help reduce emissions and on that website and in booklets the city has given out is a new logo, an apple which sort of looks like a figure 8 with a stem and a leaf.
The Logo which is pictured below in my opinion looks like an Apple, because that is what it is. But at the same time it does not make me think of Apple computers or anything Apple Computer related, however Apple Computers believes this new logo will confuse people and seriously ruin the reputation that Apple Computers has built with the general public.
Look above, one is the GreeNYC Logo the other is the Apple computer logo. Do they look Similar? I don’t think they do but if you do let us know, just comment below.
Is it just me or is Apple full of SHIT? This is just as bad as when Microsoft wanted to trademark the word Windows or something.

Apple in the complaint calls itself the Worlds-Famous Computer Company, well now that this dispute is public, I am pretty sure they will also be known as a Bully. But hey NY is known for being a Bully too, and I am pretty sure our Mayor and the City will fight Apple to the death.
This all has me pretty ticked off there is no resemblance what so ever, and if anything NYC should sue apple for using the word Apple or Apple as its logo. Apple has only been using the Apple logo since 1977, NYC has been known as the big Apple since the 1930’s when Apple vendors lined the streets of Harlem. Steve Jobs wasn’t even born yet (1955 he poped out of his mama), probably wasn’t even thought of.
The little respect Apple has gained with me over the past year has just completely been washed away with this bogus suit.
So, what the F*#@ Apple?

I was at APple HQ well not at it but went by it and it’s on 1 Infinite loop, maybe that is why they are ticked also.

I showed this to my dad, and he said this is just a case of a bored lawyer and a publicity stunt.
He gurantees next week apple will drop this.
