Most of you have probably already read my post from yesterday, where I was able to install Norton Internet Security 2009 in less than a minute, and how much I love it! If you haven’t read it check it out here.

Well I love it so much that I spoke with the great people over at Symantec and was able to acquire 5 activation codes for NIS 2009 so I am giving them away, but there is a catch. To get one of the 5 activation keys, you must do the following.

1. Download the Trial Version of NIS 2009. (Available here)
2. Get your camera or Desktop recording software such as Camtasia ready.
3. Install Norton Internet Security 2009 while you record it.
4. Post the video to YouTube
5. Reply to this post with your name, email and a link to your YouTube Video. (DO NOT EMBED YOUR VIDEOS)

The first five people to reply get an activation key to activate their trial version of Norton Internet Security 2009 (3 user), a $69.99 value!

Check out a video I made of an installation, a little over a minute but this was a really slow machine that can bearly run Vista.

I do realize that youtube sometimes takes time to process videos, so I will go by the time youtube says the video was added, not when its available so if your video is showing the grey camera post it anyway.

I did a EULA skim, so the installation starts after the first 20 seconds or so? Haven’t checked.

It took much longer than your times though.

you serious? only 4 people have done this? i’d do it but the upload to youtube would take 3 days so...I’m getting more and more sour about this internet lately--starting to get obsessive..

Have to admit- NIS 2009 is the best Internet Security software i’ve ever seen. Kaspersky and Zonealarm were my favorites untill now. I’m using NIS 2009 for a week now and it’s blazing fast, very light-almost no differense in system boot and response time with or without the Suite installed, verry customizable(my favorite tool is the network security map-you can see all devices in the local network and even information on the network adapter brand). Great work Symantec!
