HP today announced that their xw9400 workstation is now available with dual Opteron 2400 Series Processors giving it up to 12 cores.

The HP xw9400 is also the first professional workstation according to HP that will provide you with up to 12 cores, and with that many cores the system is perfect for digital content creation and other processor hungry task.

I am having trouble with my computer running slow and failing to do tasks. A co-worker said to try increasing my virtual memory but it is already set at the recommended amount.This is a AVID Editing System so it runs really hard.any advice would help.
