I travel a lot, so I am always on the lookout for a good set of headphones that have good noise cancellation.

I’ve tried Bose, and well those were ok, but I could still hear the hum from the airplane engines and people talking around me. It was not really noise cancellation but noise muffling.

Clear Harmony ImageBut at CES, I was put onto ableplanets Clear Harmony, and while their demo was pretty cool and made their headphones seem like the best thing out there, you never really know until you try them yourself.

So I asked them to send me a pair, and they did, and I have to say, “I CAN’T HEAR YOU”.

When you put the Clear Harmony headphones on and you flip the noise cancellation switch, it was like walking out of a noisy room into a sound proof room. I literally thought I went deaf; I couldn’t even hear myself speak unless I raised my voice.

Then I finally turned some music on and wow. I don’t think I have ever heard such clear sounding music coming from my computer ever. It was, for lack of a better word, heavenly.

The surrounding noise was gone, and all I could hear was the beat of the music. I actually dosed off and feel asleep. It was probably the best sleep I have had in a while.

The headphones also look really nice and are very comfortable on the ear. They don’t apply too much pressure like some other headphones I have used in the past. It was as if I had nothing on.

Overall the headphones are great, and I recommend them for everyone who loves music, travels a lot, and is in search for a really good set of headphones with noise cancellation at a respectable price.
