Nick White, one of the coolest product managers at Microsoft will be packing his bags and leaving Microsoft at the end of this month.

Nick White ran the WindowsVistaBlog.com and was in charge of the Featured Communities, something we here at HardwareGeeks.com are a part of.

PLEASE EDIT BEFORE SUBMITING POSTWhen I met Nick two and a half years ago, I knew he was going to be a great guy to work with, as previous people who held his position were not as sociable as he was, and because of his kind ways I think of him as a friend and I am sure many who have dealt with him will say the same.

I think all the Featured Community member sites (Neowin.net, OSNN.net, WindowsConnected.com, Windows-Now.com, SmallBizVista.com, TheTabletPc.net just to name a few), will agree with me when I say, Nick Made us feel like one big family, and while sometimes the relationship was rocky, everyone still respected everyone at the end of the day.

But while it’s a sad day to learn Nick is leaving Microsoft and while I personally think his leaving the company is as big of news if not bigger than when Billy G announced he was leaving, we won’t shed any tears because the company Nick is headed to (Buzz Corps) we have regular dealings with and are sure to have regular contact with him.

So we wish Nick good luck with his new venture and hope to annoy him on a regular basis. I just hope my Microsoft stock doesn’t tank on Monday.

shock Nick leaving Microsoft is a sad thing to hear.  He has been a great person to communicate with and has helped me with the popularity that my website has become.  I personally will continue to look forward to Nick’s future projects at his new job.  Thanks Nick.
