Even though we are still in the process of updating our site, after a major server hiccup, we still want to bring you some news.

It would seem that Microsoft has cut Xbox 360 prices in Canada.

Microsoft said in a statement it would cut the price of the Xbox 360 console to C$349 from C$399, while the premium Elite model with a larger hard drive would drop to C$449 from C$499. The more basic Arcade model is dropping to $279 from C$299.

Does this mean that Xbox 360 prices will drop in the US soon? I would guess that it does as the US dollar and the CAD are worth about the same. 1 USD = 1.01 CAD as of this morning.

I wonder if the failure of HDDVD has anything to do with this price drop? Probably not but it makes you wonder.
