Back on June 15th 2008, we reviewed the HP iPAQ 910 business messenger. But unlike most of our reviews, the review of the iPAQ 910 was of a prototype.

Well we recently received the final of the iPAQ 910 and we wanted to post an update to the review. Everything in the original review stands as the phone was great then and still is great now. There are no changes in the phones hardware. the only difference between what we reviewed back in June and what we have tested now was the ROM and the issues in the prototypes ROM are not present in the final ROM.

In our review of the prototype we did not award the HP iPAQ any award because we were reviewing the prototype, now that we have had a chance to take a look at the final version of the phone we are proud to award it our 5 Star Community Favorite Award.

How would you compare the 910 to the Palm Treo Pro? I had a 910 on loan from HP for evaluation for about a month. I still prefer my Treo 750 but it is showing its age.

I like the treo, but the treo was thicker than the iPAQ and I am not a huge fan of thick phones. I do like the treo with windows mobile over the Palm OS one.

I mean it;s hard to choose which is better IMO I haven’t played with a treo in a while. Last palm phone i touched was the centro edelman sent me.
