LOL, I got master ranking on a sharepoint 2003 certification exam. However, I’ve never used 2003, only 2007… I’m master of something I’ve never used!
I just passed an ASP.NET certification from BrainBench I didn’t expect to pass
The folks over at Aten sent us one of there new KVM’s. What makes this KVM special is the inclusion of dual-link DVI, 7.1 Audio and a USB 2.0 hub. I’ve been using the KVM now in my home setup for a little over a week now. Read on to see how it measures up!
This KVM was a breeze to setup, even with having to rearrange my desk a bit to get the proper resting place for my laptop I had everything laid out and ready in under twenty minutes. The cables are plenty long enough for most situations, easily reaching from the center to the end of both arms of my L shaped desk. I ended up velcroing the KVM to the underside of where my monitor sits in the center panel of my desk.
Last Saturday I received a nice present on my doorstep from Michael. Namely a dvi and audio KVM from the people over at Aten. This KVM is great (and I’ll be posting a full review down the line), it has completely solved my docking issues with my macbook pro and pc to my main monitor. And being able to utilise my 5.1 speaker system at the same time is great. Lastly is a minor feature that’s coming in handy which is the addition of a USB hub built in to the KVM. I have my headset and ipod plugged in to it at the moment.

So I was browsing around and found this horrible article detailing the demise of VMWare and how the sky is falling for them. So here’s a little rebuttal on why this article from ComputerWorld is wrong.

First thing that comes to mind when reading your article, have you ever used VMWare in the enterprise space? Were a Microsoft shop, but we use and will continue to use, ESX server by VMWare. Theirs a number of reasons for this, most have to do with Hyper-V having huge gaps in it’s feature set as of 1.0.
