Hardware Geeks

Hi everyone. Some of you already know me, but for those of you who don’t; My name is Justin Yates. I’m a geek of pretty much all trades from the triad area of North Carolina, currently residing in southern California. I strive to be as helpful and social as I possibly can, so if you’re ever curious about anything I post, or just want to say hi, feel free to send me an email or an IM. I plan to use the blog to post everything from reviews on hardware and software, to information about new ground breaking technologies, to my own geeky accomplishments.

I’m a very versatile person when it comes to my geekiness, as I love playing with everything from hardware encryption code to simple RC cars and planes. I have a particular affinity for audio equipment, and run a small local audio repair and custom build shop. I design all my my equipment myself from the ground up, and build it in my basement. I have countless computers running a plethora of operating systems that I play with daily, and when I’m needed, I work as a contracted Networking Security Analyst for X1 communications. I have a few IT related certifications including A+, Network+, and Security+, which I obtained at the early age of 16. I am currently working on CEH certification, and striving to get accepted into one of my two choice colleges to get a masters in Electronic Engineering.
