Man, oh man, oh man - what a work out! After playing Top Spin 3 for the Wii for nearly 4 hours I am beat and I want to go for 4 more because even though I am beat and my arm is killing me the game is so much fun.
I have been waiting for this game for nearly a year, ever since I first played the demo. I fell in love with the game and have been anticipating its launch for a while now, and now that I have it my life feels complete… not.
While the graphics on the Wii aren’t that great the work out it gives you makes up for it and its extremely fun to play, even though the controls for the game on the Wii are a bit confusing, you do get use to it after a while but holding the Wiimote in the manner the game requires is a definite faux pa on the part of 2K Sports. Unlike Wii Sports Tennis you need to use the Nunchuck in Top Spin 3, you also have to hold the Wiimote on its side and if you are a little kid this can be uncomfortable as my nephew pointed out to me.
You basically play tournament style play as one of the world’s greatest tennis players,. You can chose which player, from David Ferrer to Venus Williams or anyone in between.
There are different tournaments you can play and the more you play the harder it gets, which is good.
I also played the game on the 360 and Playstation 3 (demo) and while the graphics were a lot better, the intensity that the game had on the Wii wasn’t there. I guess since I was standing up swinging my arm around like crazy made it more exhilarating.
Overall the game is fun and if you are into jumping around and flinging your arm in the air then get it for the Wii, but if you aren’t into that it’s also fun on the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 but not as intense.

You yourself have a 360, and damn just about ANYBODY who plays online cares about leaderboards. You know why? We have enough intelligence to see who’s the best of the best, and see their tactics while playing.
