Today Toshiba announced it has added the Intel Centrino 2 vPro (Montevina) to it’s Tecra A10 and M10, and has enhanced their Satellite line with the Satellite Pro S300 with an Intel Centrino 2 vPro processor.
The new Toshiba Tecras and Satellites from Toshiba will allow IT Departments to wirelessly manage their systems even when the OS is unresponsive with the help of the Intel Centrino 2 with vPro technology. The new CPU’s will also help improve battery life and offer better wireless connectivity.
“The Toshiba Tecra M10 and Tecra A10 provide the real-world mobile computing features that our business customers need most—in the office or while traveling,” said Jeff Barney, general manager and vice president, Digital Products Division, Toshiba America Information Systems, Inc. “These new laptops give Toshiba’s customers the clear competitive edge and deliver Toshiba’s mission of creating innovative laptop PCs that improve the productivity and lives of our business customers.”
The Tecra A10 and M10 feature EasyGuard Technology, which protects your hard drive in the case you drop th notebook and also protects your keyboard from spills. There is also a built in finger print reader, webcam that can also read business cards, eSata/USB 2.0 combo ports, sleep and charge, which allows you to charge your iPod or other peripheral while the system is asleep, and a solid state drive option.

The Satellite Pro S300, features everything the Tecra’s feature.
The new Tecras and the Satellite Pro S300 should be available from Toshiba Direct now.

And did your replacement M7 not have that same problem with dust in the screen?
Was it a different latch design or what did they do?
By any chance do you know who you dealt with at toshiba because i could really use some help?
