Today HP announced that popular Touchsmart PC will be getting a bigger screen, the new version of the Touchsmart will be 25.5 inches. Not that much bigger than the current versions screen but a nice size diagonal screen it is.
The new Touchsmart will also have a wall-mounting option, however you will have to pay $50.00 extra for the wall adapter, the only downside though is the legs on the Touchsmart IQ800 are not removable even if you mount it on a wall. Not sure what HP was thinking but anyway. I do know that I personally wouldn’t wall mount the HP Touchsmart even if I could remove the legs.
HP also added a new notebook to the HDX line, the HDX16. The HDX16 is not the monster the HDX Dragon is but it is a powerful little notebook PC. We here at HardwareGeeks.com should be receiving one soon for review and we will bring you some unboxing photos later this week if not tomorrow.
The new HDX systems do have a similar look and feel to the DV series but not as shiny so no one will be blinded, in fact the HDX line of notebooks has a sex design to them and I can’t wait to get some in detailed pictures of it to show you guys and gals.

Are you serious you can’t take those plastic pegs off when you wall mount it. What idiot at HP came up with that. I See people walking by getting shirts snagged on those little legs.
Very disappointed.
