And here I was drooling over the $5500 model last week. But, am I reading this right? Only a gig of RAM? Or is that VRAM? I had a liquid cooled desktop by Sony a couple years back. Nice system at the time. Sold it for something more portable (read: less powerful), aka the MacBook.
After some lengthy consideration, I’ve decided to just use the notebook on the go only, and I got myself a nice new Quad-core Pavillion (desktop) for just over a grand.
All this Dragon stuff made me hungry for more power, but I’m thinking it whips the pants off the Dragon. Well, probably not by much. No blu-ray or bluetooth (’cept for me lucky bt dongle), and it’s not portable, but I’ll just have to suffice until the next insane series of contests from HP (or other vendors).
