Dubbed the Green PC, Dell today launched it’s Studio Hybrid Desktop. It isn’t called Hybrid because it uses both electricity and gas to power it but because you can stand it up Vertically or lay it down diagonally, which makes them great for an apartment with little room or even a Dorm Room.
The Studio Hybrid desktops are also pretty sleek looking and it probably has the smallest form factor of any desktop available from any of the Major OEMs (Original Equipment Manufactures).
More and more notebook PC users want to game on their notebooks, and they don’t want to just play WOW or Solitaire, they want to place games like Crysis, Stranglehold and Flight Simulator X, something you can’t do with an ordinary notebook.
For the past two years or so we have seen more and more OEM’s like Toshiba and Lenovo enter the notebook gaming market and while their products, like the Toshiba X205 and the Lenovo Y30, are great powerful machines Alienware has hit another home run in the Notebook for Gamers Niche with their Alienware Area 51 m15x notebook PC.
Dell last month announced their new Studio Notebooks, and I had a chance to play with one for 20 or so minutes a month or so ago and thought I would share my thoughts.
The new Studio Line is pretty impressive sexy looking machines designed for people who want who like to express themselves. The machines are available in six colors nine colors (Silver, Jet Black, Plum, Tangerine Orange, Flamingo Pink, Midnight Blue, Ruby Red and Spring Green) and uses in the award winning design that the XPS M1330 and M1530 brought to us.
So I just got back from Berlin, and was able to check out all of their new notebooks and more.
While I have had HP logos and sugar ferries dancing in my head, Alieneware has gone and surprised me with an m15x for review. I will probably have a review up with in the next week or so but until then enjoy the unboxing pictures. I have to say it’s a sleek looking machine and I already like it a lot. But looks can be deceiving and so we shall see if it lives up to the hype.
