I bet you didn’t know that there are probably more people in Maryland using GPS then in the state you are in, or that Wal-Mart is the most searched for destination while people are on the road with Starbucks coming in at number two.

The data also shows that Pizza was the number one food searched, residents in Chicago leading the way in that category, but those of us i New York City preferred Chinese food which was the second most searched food. As if we need a GPS to find a Chinese restaurant. There is one on every corner out here.

Telenav gathered he data during December 2009, so that could explain why Wal-Mart is number one on the most searched for destination, it would be interesting to see where it ranks when averaging a years worth of data.

While I was at the 2010 CES, FedEx dropped off a package or maybe it was UPS I am not sure as I wasn’t in but regardless of who dropped it off, what they dropped off was the Jaybird Sportsband Bluetooth headset.

The Sportsband is a really elegant looking headset, and while it’s designed for the athlete in all of us, I primarily used it around my home and when commuting. It comfortably fit and kept my ears somewhat warm in this cold winter we have been having here in New York City.

Microsoft Hardware today announced the new SideWinder x4 Keyboard, which is designed to give gamers like you and me greater control over our gaming experience.

The SideWinder x4 keyboard is the first keyboard to use anti-ghosting technology, a technology developed by Microsoft’s Applied Sciences Group. The new Anti-Ghosting technology allows you to perform the most complex keyboard combinations. Basically it’s anti lag technology for your keyboard, giving you the ability to press up to 26 keys at once and the game you are playing will detect all 26 key clicks.

“We’re always looking for new and novel ways to enhance people’s interactions with their PCs,” said Steven Bathiche, research manager of the Applied Sciences Group at Microsoft. “We know that ghosting can be a problem for gamers, so we wanted to develop a way to eliminate this issue and improve the overall gaming experience, and we’ve succeeded with the new anti-ghosting technology in the SideWinder X4 Keyboard.”
