And now for something completely different:
“I’m recording this message so that if I don’t make it, at least somebody- anybody who finds it will have an idea of what the hell they’ll face getting through this nightmare. Our original party was four: Bill, Francis, Zoey, and me, Louis. We were trying to make it to the top of Mercy Hospital, but I’m the only one left, and I don’t know if I can do this alone. Bill was the first to go. We had just cleared a horde of zombies and he stopped to patch himself up while the rest of us went ahead a bit to scout...a muffled scream was the only warning we had. By the time I blew the smoker’s head off its tongue had already crushed his windpipe. Zoey was next...she was a cute little thing. A boomer threw up nasty green liquid all over her and a hunter shredded her before Francis and I could clear the mass of Infected from around her. We made it into the subway tunnels alright, but Francis ran off into the dark when he heard a woman sobbing...thought it might be another survivor. I heard the Witch scream, but I didn’t turn around. Wait, I can see a heavy metal door at the top of this room...it’s a safehouse! I might actually.*thud thud thud thud*..wait...what’s that rumbli- Oh God noit’saTanknonoNONONO *ROOOOOOOOAR* *gunfire* *crunch crunch crunch*” - Audio recovered from a mangled tape recorder by unidentifiable remains.
Hit the jump for more prose and less agony.
A little over a year and a half ago, I had the chance to experience a Pentop computer called FlyFusion. The FlyFusion Pentop computer from Leapfrog is a pen with a built in computer that is designed to help kids and teens with their homework among other things. It in itself is a fantastic product.
When I first saw the FlyFusion Pentop computer it wasn’t available on the market, and the first thing I remember saying to the person who demoed it to me was, if you guys ever make one of these for adults I would be all over it.
Well LeapFrog never came through, but a company called LiveScribe has, and I’m super excited to have one that I’m able to review for you.
With the number of passwords we have, it is becoming harder and harder to remember all of them. But Upek has launched a finger print reader that will let us use our fingers to login to our computer, online bank accounts and do so much more.
First I have to say, out of all the biometric devices I have used from companies like Microsoft and Sony, the eikon USB fingerprint reader is probably the most stylish looking one I have seen to date. It’s small form factor and good looks will fit with any system.

Remember when you were trying to figure out what college to attend and someone would say “Do you want to be a number in a crowd, or a face someone remembers?” – Well, I chose the latter.
It’s something that came to mind last night after attending Text100’s super cool Summer Sleigh event w/ Mike (who was 20 minutes late – people, people, people, I DON’T DO LATE, I freaking HATE it! But I forgive you Mike). It was such a cozy atmosphere and everyone was so willing to give you a glimpse into their product’s innovation. I didn’t meet anyone who didn’t know their product inside and out, and yes, I’m new to this and all, but those people exist – the ones that should know everything, and don’t.
Earlier this week I attended a press event here in NYC, and I thought I would share with you some of the cool products and gadgets that you should keep a look out for.
I have always been a fan of Thinkpads due to their durability and sleek look, but honestly, despite me wearing black all the time, a little color never hurt anybody! The new line of products that Lenovo just rolled out will make them a major contender in the consumer market. I truly believe Lenovo will become a household name, their laptops and desktops were just as sexy as any thin, tiny Mac.

I received my first gadget to review a couple of weeks ago and since then, I haven’t stopped using it, and pretty much fell in love. Fell so hard in love that even when I found tiny flaws, and I say tiny because the good outweighed the bad, I would try to use it even more, so that it could prove me wrong. I know, I know, I’m such a freaking girl, even when it comes to things that don’t have emotions.
I received 2 boxes, one holding the magic – the JayBird JB-200 and another box w/ an extra Bluetooth adaptor for my iPod. The directions for the headphones were very straight forward and didn’t contain fluff. I hate reading unnecessary stuff, or having to search for answers, but this product didn’t have any of that – so I was very happy.
PlayStation’s upcoming community service Home was not a big topic of discussion during Sony’s E3 press conference yesterday, but they did show a trailer which gave us a quick glimpse of what to expect. GameTrailers was also lucky enough to get a personal developer walkthrough of the current beta state of Home, including footage of game-specific rooms for Warhawk and Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune by third party developers. An extended beta of PlayStation Home is planned, but a date has not yet been set.
