About two or three months ago HP sent me the MediaSmart Server LX195 and I did the unthinkable. I let my 63 year old mom install it on her own. I didn’t think she could do it but HP had touted the LX195 as the MediaSmart server for the novice user and who better to install it than my mom a novice user.

Recently HP sent me their new EX495 MediaSmart server and I wanted my mom to install it again, because this time I wanted to record it. Well it didn’t go as planned but with the help of some cue cards so she can remember what the white box she has is called we were able to make a short video. I hope you enjoy it!

I love this video.  Your mom is so cute, Michael!  And she certainly did make it look easy to set up a MediaSmart server!
