An Intel executive in Germany seems to have confirmed to C|net that the new iPhones will be powered by Intels Atom processor.

So is it true or has something been lost in the translation of the original article?

Intel isn’t saying and has even cast doubt on what the quoted executive would or would not know.

I don’t think it will be the next iphone but rather a multi-touch PDA like they had in the Star Trek series.

Man I love star trek, I hope you are right.

BTW an update on this, intel germany and intel USA are both dening that the iPhone will have ATOM.
