Starting tomorrow HP will make a new TouchSmart 600 available with an Intel i7 processor. It will be called the HP TouchSmart 600 QuadSeries and it’s starting price will be $1699. The i7 will give the TouchSmart more processing power and speed up its performance.
So again starting tomorrow you can Spec out your TouchSmart 600 with the following configuration, Intel Core i7 720QM (1.6 GHz) or i7 820QM (1.73GHz) processors. All other configurable options remain the same. For more information follow this link tomorrow.

This looks pretty nice. It seems that the only thing holding it back is the limited processing power of the laptop hardware. Perhaps some of the core i7 hardware will make it into the line and solve the slight slowdowns.
