Zoombak Personal GPS Locator are exactly what the name says they are, personal GPS locator that will allow you to track the location of a person, car, pet or anything you want to have tracked.

The first thing I thought of when I heard about the Zoombak Personal GPS Locator was how easy it would for a suspicious husband or wife to keep track of their spouse. Or a concerned parent to keep an eye on their child even when their miles away, or an alternate to LoJack.

I personally have been using one for nearly a month and a half and it’s pretty much helped me in two situations where if it weren’t for the Zoombak GPS locator could of been far more problematic than they were.

The Zoombak GPS is a small little device it measures no more than 4 inches long and you can clip it to your belt buckle, or inside a child’s book bag. It’s light weight and the only thing that you need to worry about is charging it every other day.

The device is easy to set up and takes you no more than 10 minutes. My suggestion to everyone setting theirs up for the first time is charge it first and then place the device outside. Then activate your Device on the Zoombak website. Once your device is activated you then login to your Zoombak account and you can locate device. It takes about a minute for it to find it’s location but once it finds it, it gives you a location that is with in 30 feet of the actual GPS, which is pretty good.

You can also set it up to track the device continuously for up to an hour and see everywhere the person you are tracking or pet has been for the past hour. However you are limited to just one hour, and although you can go back and set it up for another hour. It would be nice if I could set it up for several hours or longer. After all if I want to track my child’s location while he or she is on a field trip with their school, I would need longer than an hour. Or if I were to spy on my girl friend (which I would never do and yes I do have my fingers crossed) I would probably need more than an hour for that too.

What is also cool is, you can set up zones so if the device enters an area it alerts you or if it exits that area it alerts you. You can also do timed zones. So say your kid has to be at school between 8 and 3, but at 12:30 they leave that zone it will alert you.

The zone alert feature is probably my favorite feature of them all next to the continuous tracking.

Now above I said this device has helped me twice. It has I have a relative who has dementia and she has a home health aide but on occasion she is able to sneak out and forgets her way home. Twice it has helped us find her already. She was near by but if it weren’t for the device it probably would of taken us longer to find her. Thankfully both times she wore the coat we have it clipped onto.

Overall the Zoombak is a great device and I recommend it to everyone, it’s a definite must have and that is why we award it our 5 Star Must Have Award. For more info on Zoombak visit http://www.zoombak.com

The Zoombak is available for sale at Amazon.com and Buy.com.

I have some friends who have an adult daughter that has some mental health issues and is operating on a “child” level. She has a propensity for wandering off in public places or leaving the house for walks without telling anyone where she is going. It would be nice if the parents could give her something that she would have on her that would be hooked into GPS and allow them to locate her.natural best dog food
