Over the past two years, I have reviewed my favorite notebook from Toshiba the R500 and R600. (R600 is the refresh to the R500) Each time I have been impressed and again I am impressed by the newest R600 with the 521 GB SSD drive.
With a bootup time to the desktop with all apps loaded at 29.2 seconds it is the fastest notebook I have had the pleasure of booting up! As I have said time and time again, the R600 is a beautiful machine the Donald Trump of notebooks.
Other than the bigger SSD drive, there really hasn’t been much of a change since I last reviewed the R600.
It’s super fast, light weight, sexy and durable great for the professional on the go.
I threw various apps at the R600 such as Access, Excel and Outlook it handled them all with ease, even when I was multi tasking and purposely trying to push the machine to its limits.
I have always been amazed by the power of this little thing, Toshiba has done a hell of a job with the R600 and because of that it maintains the title as the best notebook for mobile professionals.
