Back in August 2008, I reviewed the dc7800 and since then HP has updated the 7800 and have come out with the 7900, while HP didn’t make any changes to the design they have upgraded the CPU from an Intel Core 2 Duo E6550 to a E7300 and it’s also available with up to a Intel Core 2 Duo Quad Q9650 and can now handle up to 8GB Of memory.

Even though almost a year has passed since I first saw this Ultra Slim Desktop PC from HP, I am still amazed by how small it is and as I said in my review of the 7800, just because it is small doesn’t mean it lacks the power to do what you need it to do.

Of course don’t expect it to do the job of a huge workstation, but expect it to get the majority of your task done flawlessly.

I threw day to day applications and task at the dc7900 and it didn’t let me down, it handled my multi tasking without a problem (Email, Browsing, Working with Excel and Access).

I made a video of the insides of the dc7900 a while ago but here it is again for you to check out.

Overall I am impressed by the stability and size of the dc7900 and recommend it to any small business owner, and like the dc7800 we award the dc7900 our 5 Star Must Have Award.

Video fudges up your alignment. and I hate refreshes with little to no changes.

Refreshes aren’t always fun I know, I will fix video now. Sorry about that.
