HP is known for their Desktops and Notebooks, but not many of us know hat they also make Keyboards, Mice and Webcams. One of their most recent Keyboard and Mouse combos is the HP Comfort Desktop. A combo that will definitely add a bit of style to any desktop.
The HP Comfort Keyboard has a design and features you’d expect logitech to come out with on their line of keyboard and mice, but HP beat them too it.
The HP Comfort Desktop comes with the HP Wireless Vector Mouse, which as you can probably tell from the picture is a sexy little mouse. It also fits into your hand perfectly and very comfortable to use. The response time is excellent and actually surprising for a wireless moue.
I really like the design of the mouse as it adds a bit of style to your desk, with it’s silver trim.
The mouse has two programmable buttons, they default to forward an backward and work great in your favorite Internet browser but with the included software you can change their function easily.
They Keyboard is an ergonomic Keyboard which is as comfortable as any other ergonomic keyboard I have used. It matches the Vector Wireless Mouse perfectly with it’s silver trim around the keys.
The HP Comfort Keyboard has two features which I really like a lot, a dial to control volume. It’s kind of nostalgic to be able to lower and raise the volume by twisting a dial I really liked that. The other feature I really liked on the keyboard was the CTRL + ALT + DELETE key, No more doing the finger aerobics to hit all three keys, the HP Comfort Keyboard has one key that does it all.
If you love to have programmable hotkeys, the HP Comfort Keyboard has several programmable hotkeys and four keys that work perfectly at controlling your media players. (tested it with iTunes, Windows Media Player and Rhapsody).
Overall the keyboard is great, and affordable too with a Starting Price of $79.99 you’re bound to find it in the $50 dollar range for the Holiday. I really enjoy the keyboard and everyone here loves it too so we award it our 5 Start Community Favorite award!
