I am probably one of the few people who rather have a wired mouse over a wireless one, maybe it has to do with the interference I experience in my home or the fact that I find wired mice more responsive and faster than wireless ones. But having a wired mouse has it’s draw backs and the biggest draw back is the wire.
Wires tend to get in the way and sometimes even cause you to mess up during games. I personally have found my self putting stuff such as notebook batteries or soda bottles on top of the wire to keep it still. Little did I know was all I needed was an anchor. You know the kind they use at the library so you don’t steal the mice.
Well while I may not need an anchor to stop me from stealing my own mouse, the idea of one holding the wire for my mouse in place was something I wanted. So I got the evo-g MB2 Mouse Anchor. A triangle anchor that not only holds the wire in place, but in the event I am in a heated battle on Crysis and I yank a bit too hard the anchor won’t prevent my mouse from moving like the security anchors at the library.
The MB2 is a great little piece of hardware, since getting it I haven’t found my self fighting with the cable while I am playing a game, I am actually thinking of getting another for my keyboard to hold that cable down and out of my way. I hate it when the cable for my keyboard dangles under my desk and rubs against my legs.

I wrap my cable around a locker lock. But I agree wired is better. Although I did have a wireless mouse from Logitech that was very good at gaming.
