A common problem some of my neighbors have is, they own a notebook PC and have a cell phone or camera that uses a microSD card, and well they can’t get the microSD card to fit into the SD slot on their notebooks because well the SD slot is too big and they have no idea where they placed the adapter, and I have to admit I tend to find my microSD adapters two weeks after I needed them.

Well Kingston wants to make our lives easier with their microSD USB reader combo. The microUSB reader like the microSD card is tiny it self and attaches to your keychain.

The microUSB adapter comes with up to an 8GB microSD card, a mini and regular sized SD adapter, and before you say it I know it is not a new product from Kingston, it has been around for nearly 2 years but now it’s available with an 8 gig microSDHC card which has a life time warranty. Adapter just has a 2 year warranty, so in a way it’s a fairly new product.

The microSD USB adapter is perfect for mobile professionals or anyone who is on the go and has a lust for those new micro PCs such as the HP mini Note which don’t have built in memory card readers. Plus it doubles as a USB Flash drive, and is way smaller than any USB flash drive currently available so if you are like me and don’t like having a buldge in your pocket, then the Kingston microUSB adapter would be perfect for you as well.

I personally have been using mines for over a year and I do not leave home with out it. For more info on the product visit http://www.kingston.com/flash/usb_microsd_reader.asp
