I have said this in a previous review, the HP Probook line is probably one of the best if not the best business line of notebooks around.
I say they are one of the best, because they are built to last, powerful, and have unique security and data protection features that will probably save you from a lot of headaches, along with features to help save energy. The 6545B is EPEAT Gold Registered.
The model of the 6545B HP loaned me is the PM992UT#ABA, it has a $799 price tag, powered by an AMD Turion II M520 processor, 15.6 inch LED Backlit HD capable display, 2MP webcam, 320 GBHDD, 2 GB of memory, and a/b/g/n wireless connectivity, with a 6cell battery that gave me about 5 hours of battery life.
When I first received from HP the 6545B, I put it through my usual drill. I installed the applications I typically use which are Office 2007, Photoshop, Hulu and my favorite game of all time Sim City 4. I then used it nonstop for over a week.
The system handled it all, it handled multiple office apps opened at once with no noticeable slowdown, it did everything I needed it to do.
One of the coolest features on the 6545B is the QuickLook3 and QuickWeb features. QuickLook gives you quick access to your calendar, email, contacts and task (syncs with outlook) without having to boot into Windows. If you are always in a rush you can in less than 10 seconds view all of this information with a quick press of a button.
QuickWeb which is as cool as QuickLook but instead gives you fast access to the internet was as quick to open up but I didn’t find myself using it as much. If I needed internet access to check a website quickly I found myself using my Smartphone exclusively when on the move.
Another great feature on the 6545B is the drainage system. If you accidently spill anything onto the probooks keyboard, it would drain. There literally is a drainage system so that all liquid will drain through the bottom of the system. No more flipping it over and shaking it to get all of the liquid out.
There is also another feature called HP SpareKey and what it does is basically sets up some security questions so you can access the system in the event you lose your password, and the system even has LoJack in case the system is stolen.
Overall the ProBook 6545B is a fantastic affordable notebook, and we suggest you check it out. For more information visit: http://www.hp.com

Its a ery amazing laptop all its features are very fine. The b-series notebooks, including the 6445b and 6545b, feature AMD processors and graphics. The 6445b features a 14-inch display while the 6545b features a 15.6-inch; both displays have LED backlighting. The ProBook 6545b and 6445b aren’t just for business users, they’re also suitable for klutzes. The systems are made out of tough magnesium alloy for increased durability and they even feature an island style spill-resistant keyboard with drain.
