I will start off by saying that Scared 2 Fallen Angel is probably one of the funniest games of its kind since I last played Doom.
It wasn’t easy to review this game in fact it took me a lot longer than it should have mainly because the game is so huge and I have had a hell of a busy schedule these past 2 months.
The game has hardly any story line, so you won’t get bored by constant narrative. The game somewhat reminded me of WOW where you can run around a huge world and fight, steal, loot do magic spells etc. It isn’t easy to get bored with this game but without a decent story line it lacks a bit of structure. However the constant fighting made up for that. But when the characters do talk it can be kind of annoying as the voices are a tad bit weird.
In the game you basically have to develop your character and you can choose between Light which is good and Shadows which is evil.
As your character develops and you acquire tools along your journey of the games huge map, you go from a basic slash and smash type fight to a more complex fighting style.
I think the way you choose tools needs to be re worked as it confused me a bit. What I thought was really cool though is you can mix and match your weapons which basically allows you to create an even deadlier weapon.
After you kicked some bad guy or evil creature’s ass, they would leave some loot behind that you can pick up and use. You will often end up with more things than you need so you’ll be selling it off just as fast as you will most likely get it. You can even share your loot with your friends. Sharing means Caring
There are a lot of things to do in the game, and I will be honest I don’t even think I am half way done, from what I can gather there are well over 500 different quest that you can go on.
The game is fun, but it does seem to get repetitive at times, but if you can look past that you’ll probably enjoy it I know that I am enjoying it and will keep enjoying it until I conquered everything in the game!
Scared 2 is available for the PC, XBox 360 and PS3.

It might be that developer Ascaron and publisher CDV bit off too much for them to chew. There are some good aspects, but not much that can be considered ground breaking.
