I am a huge Gran Turismo Fan, in fact I own a Playstation 3 just so that I could play the GT Prologue and the new GT game that is coming out. Never did I think any other game could compare. But EA has litterally taken car racing games to the next level with Need for Speed Shift.
The graphics and details in the game are amazing and so realistic you feel as if you are inside the car. So realistic, and may I add a true story--my neighbor literally thought I had a car in my apartment.
But as I said the graphics in the game are amazing, and you would think you were really watching a car race if you didn’t know any better.
There are over 60 different cars to choose from and also 15 real world tracks. So you literally can drive in Japan or London with out leaving the safety of your living room. Game play is exhilarating, each car handles differently and it becomes a challenge when you go from one car to another. You have to adjust and you may take a lap or two to do so.
In the game you basically have to build a reputation for yourself, after each race you are rated on aggressiveness and how accurately you drove the track. I am an aggressive driver. You also get points for driving aggressively ie. pushing cars out of the way spinning an opponent out. You also get points for drafting and taking a tight turn correctly.
Those points then are added up and you advance from one level to the next, the higher the level the more cars and tracks you can drive on.
The game gives you a feel of being a pro driver, do well in a race and you can get an endorsement. When I got my first one I was kind of excited even though it’s just a game.
Overall the game is fun and you’ll enjoy it! So check it out but as always rent it first, it’s available for the PS3, Wii, PC and Xbox 360.

Im 19 with a 03 Mustang GT. I really love cars and speed. If i were to pay for racing school and volunteer at the track. Where do you think I will have more chances to become a race car driver, open wheel or stock car racing? Be realistic please.car recovery
