Default Site Suggestion

I'm not one to criticize or anything, but as a web/graphic artist I love taking input from others when it comes to my own work. I thought maybe I would make a couple suggestions for the design of the site:

For one, I love the top Hardware Geeks banner. It has awesome color and everything. But I dont necessarily think the below space is appropriate. I think it might look a little cooler if that space was either removed, cut down, or rearranged. The "HG" circle logo looks a little blurry/distorted to me, but I havent heard any other people say anything about it. So here's what I would do: Remove the circle "hg" as well as the gray-beveled areas. Then, put in a new beveled gray/silver bar that would go under the HardwareGeeks banner and have it go across the screen. No more than 18-20 pixels in height. This is where I would put the navigation. I would suggest taking the turqoise off the first letters of each button, because it's somewhat hard to read. As for the ad banner, I would just place that under (either centered, or to the very right... or even to the left of the HardwareGeeks banner in that empty white space. Whatever looks best).

I'm sorry if this makes anyone mad, but I just thought I could help. If you guys need help with anything, just ask me.

edit: sorry this may be in the wrong forum.

Yeah I think too hard about graphics and stuff like that lol.

I just think the top needs to be reduced by maybe a fourth or a third. The "HG" circle looks a little bit out of place to me, but that could just be me. I love the banner though... it's sw33t.
