Well may aswell post this incase someone asks where it is. Unfortunately I had a hard drive crash few weeks back as the drive just died on me during the night while in PS, heavy clunk then it started clicking and fails to boot or be recognised in two systems now. :/ So lost all my psd's for Megaton Icons and the WB plus AlloyBezel etc atleast good 2 months of work. Suppose that'll teach for not burning stuff to cd. Ofcourse no sooner had it went from bad to worse as a new hdd arrived 3 days later the new one lasted only 4 days and boom same thing reinstall again Seems I just had crap luck with HDD's that week.

Really bumbed as it happened on holiday weekend couldn't have gone at a worst time as the blind was planned for GUIO and was just about finnished, but I guess some things are just not meant to be

Attached a sample of what it was going to be... but now I decided there will be a slicker version perhaps in the next few months after I get some other important stuff out the way. Well it will be a pretty cool dark theme but with red highlights.

Anyway just to let you know whats happening... I'll post updates nearer the time.

Right since its almost the end of summer, let you know how Megaton progress is coming along. I hope to have it finnished sometime late next week hopefully once everything is perfect. Lots of detail but not to much yet sleek black rubber style kind of techno, the animation and such is pretty slick for the AVI's with funky bars so the glyphs light up red on mouseover and glow when pressed.
You'll just have to see when the time comes like it or lump it, not everyone likes dark themes so tough It'll most likely have issues with web browsers and any apps that use hardcoded black text but I think this is pretty cool how its turning out.

Here is a little sneak peek for the meantime, not wanting to give to much away.
Once I feel this is perfect it'll be available for download late next week sometime if everything goes to plan.

Just incase anyone wonders where it is, I have decided to delay it because I felt the icon set really lacks quality compared to the new look and style of this blind.
This is a very dark design or it should be since my CRT is running Contrast 100/Brightness 50 actually hoping people can barely see the detail.

Anyway it'll be a full set, just like the last one but way cooler looking very stylish plus the fact I lost the last set of psd's I felt they needed a real stylish remake. Was actually watching some sci-fi movies and seen the black and red so I wondered dam these would look bloody hot if they were remade give them a cool futuristic style to it. Still busy away making the AA icon set I'm really loving them, they will be well worth the wait I just feel the icons have to be perfection or as close as can be.

The megaton wb will also have a few start menus standard size/compact plus a few different designs including standard + compact taskbars and various start buttons to choose from but Im sure it'll be a very cool dark theme perhaps one option for the full animated thing.
