Good on finding the hard drive.
 Now all you need to find is the optical drive, then you're good to go.

Finally got this working, used an old 6GB iPod mini and a firewire cable, along with a USB 2.0 HD with my OSX 10.4 install DVD on it, and installed to the ipod. Everything worked fine, so I went to the store and got a 2.5 inch 80GB SATA HD to get everything working, and it runs like a charm. Now I have a "beat me up" laptop.
