installed longhorn about a week ago, and i did the activation crack and longhorn afterwards says that it is registered.
but no everytime that i boot up i get a messagebox that says that ive got 7 days left to register :-(
'seems to me that the activation crack doesnt quite work.
anybody know what ive got to do??

thats because reset doesn't work on lh and will screw up activation. only way to fix it is reinstall properly with a real key

actually i know a way to kill activation :) it works on XP and longhorn and .NET :) dont bother asking me though im not telling through HWG

and what is a real key and were do you get it???
what about the program witch u can use called reset timebomb?
could i set back the date or activation?

there is a way around, just look on the net, ill give u a hint, it involve some registry and permission editing

only reason I left this open when I replied was so people would know that reset doesn't work, not so people know how to crack it which we don't discuss here.
