After installing Media center following AAlien's tutorial and files I get my Bootscreen where says Windows Xp Professional NOW SAYS Windows XP Freestyle

Is that normal?

BTW : after I press in Media Center shortcut appears a screen with lower res than 1280x1024 I use saying Welcome etc, and you need 10-40 mins to configure the PC blah blah and it closes after 2-3 secs

Where is the problem?

yes it's normal, freestyle was the codename for media center. Run it in XP Compatability mode, and use the mouse to allow resize

Compatibility Mode is locked in properties of ehshell.exe and can't be enabled :(

Something is wrong cause now after I click to open Media Center I get only a popup with errors........ "Strong Name Validation Failed"

hehehe from bad to worst :P

Sean B: the patch I wrote isn't for post-install

@VAG: do it to the shortcut not the exe itself
