Hello,

I recently upgraded winxp with Longhorn. The problem is that I cannot reinstall xp since it doesn't recognize longhorn. When i try to install xp, it only lets me install from scratch... and i really need to keep all my settings intact.

Can anyone help?

Also longhorn doesn't detect the sound, printer, ... it is really a very beta release...

it's pre-beta.

And you manually install sound and printer, you use the XP/2k drivers in longhorn.

You can't uninstall unless you checked the uninstall option during setup. Easiest would be doing a fresh install of XP and dual-booting between Longhorn and XP to transfer your settings.
