AHH i use to be a Sims Addict. I beta Testest Sims online. But I was a bad SIM. I had Female roomies and I would charge guys to have fun in the Love Bed. Also ran a Lottery lol.

Yeah I just plaied it during the beta. It was really fun at first but then it got old and well 10 dollars a month plus the 20 dollars for the game wasn't really worth it. I still talk to one of my roomies though.

hi, bought 2 x amd 3000+ on 8/11/03,, put one in my pc, runs fine, put other in sons today (xmas day), and pc powered down after about 3 seconds, and alarm came on (meemaw meemaw alarm, not beeps) and wont try again till powered hes been switched of to pc. son has jetway V400db kt400 mobo, when put his old cpu amd 1900+ back in same alarm is sounding, tried reset cmos, but it still the same. any help here please as son stays in next town, and i not allowed in house after xmas, i have his pc here at my house today though. thanks all.

could be that the CPU HSF isn't on correctly. (Would Last Longer then 3 secs most of the time)
Also could be memory chips backwards (Unlikely)
Memory not in correctly (also Unlikely)
A backwards powercable somewhere or loose PCI Card or AGP Video card could cause this.

I have a problem; I need your help.
Here's what I know.
I have a 2.2GHz Pent4 w/128 ram & XP Home (COMPAQ)
I have two hard drives.
#1 - C:= 33.81 GIG, Boot partition, 28.1 GIG free, NTFS
E:= 4.35 GIG, Sys Recovery part, .5 GIG free, FAT32
(7.8 MEG unallocated)
#2 - D:= 2? - 4? GIG, one partition, ~23 MEG free, FAT32

The reason I don't know about #2 is because the first time I ran PartMag, it scanned for a while (maybe a minute), then reported that there was an error w/the structure on my D: drive & should it fix it, so I said Yes.

My intention was to:
1 - Move all critical data to D:, including the PartMag utility
2 - System Recover/Reformat C: from E:
3 - Use PartMag to divvy up drive 1
4 - Move all my data back to C:
In other words, PartMag fouled up my backup disk.

More:
I can't say exactly what the reported error was (something about unallocated or end space???). I thought it could be related to a Defrag I did on drive D: (Not enough free space?) I had no idea. I wasn't concerned, because the utility was running fine, and it reported that the error was safely corrected.

However, when the partition screen came up, it showed my D: drive boxed in yellow ("Other"). I thought this was odd, since I was fairly certain it was FAT32. Then I saw that it was tagged as BAD & I couldn't work with the partition!

My D: is an older, smaller drive (but not that old). The only thing unusual about it was that it was not being monitored by System Restore at the time. (C: and E: were). I tried then to back up to a restore point, but of course that didn't work, since
D: wasn't being monitored. Then to top it off, PartMag failed to run because it had been installed on drive D:. I thought maybe PartMag could correct its own problem, if I reinstalled it to C: -- but this didn't work until I went through the registry & cut all the old links between "D:" and "PartMag." I finally got PartMag to run, but still don't know how to read the data off of D:.

I know my D: data is in good shape, but how can I undo that first PartMag "repair" and re-apply the FAT without losing all hope of recovering my data? This is some important stuff I'm talking about. YEARS of writing... ALL my MP3's...

sons pc kinda sorted now, cpu fan/heat sink was on wrong way round, now found mobo only supports barton 3000+ at 333, not 400 which the cpu is, sigh.

the 1000amg is a pretty decent case. You will need atleast 3 80mm fans in it to keep it cool
