My work experience covered application engineering of custom built electric motors to just about evert machine you can imagine.
I decided my sales engineering apprenticeship was completed in fifteen years. This was to teach myself product knowledge of all my customers products. I therefore know a lot about centrifugal pump and fan law. And so on. I started messing with computers around 8 years back and have put up a page to assist with operating systems, help and help links. Bootable CD construction is my current interest and have made Partition Magic 8 work from a bootable CD. Also customising unattended XP and Win9X cd for unattended installations. Wel that roughly covers it.

Me i am travi$ a 40 yr old Celt with a love of bouncing around the net gleaning wotever is of interest.
The machine i use more oftern is a Dell lap, nothing special running 2k. The big rig is an amd 2700+, chaintech nvidia2 board,1gig 2700 Kingston plus the bits.
I arrived here while nosing at the new longhorn and am here to pick your brains.
I may have a reasonable rig which i built myself but i learn as i go along so am starting the longhorn longhall knowing virtually nothing.

Um dude, chill on the caps lock situation. Everything will be ok.
As for downloading the shell32.dll files, go to the download section where the shell32 files are located. Then click on the one you want to download. After the page loads you will see at the bottom of a box in the screen "Download" followed by "here."

I've been trying to make a ghost boot disk for a compaq evo that would recognize the integrated nic card but have been unsuccessful. I'm using Symantec Ghost ver 7.5. It has a network boot disk wizard that allows you to add the appropriate driver to be included on this bootable floppy. Can't find one to work.

wmcc the intel nic cards dont have drivers that are recognized by default in windows. you'll need to download them from intel or windowsupdate and try to intergreate it into the disc
