depends on what you have set.. 10 post/page.. or 40 post/page.. that is about right, since there are about 3670 post.

so if you do the math,

The other day My aunt and uncle bought a new Multifunction printer, scanner and photocopier from pc world (a Hewlet Packard PSC 1210) Unfortunately I could not get it installed on their system. After phoning and emailing the support people they could offer no other help, besides what I had already try'd. My aunt decided to take the Hardware back to PC world. They saw a better version so they bought that and decided they would get the PC world guys to install it for them. When they went back to collect the computer the technician said a virus had wiped the whole hard drive while they were installing the new hard ware, and no files could be saved (So they had to restore to the factory setting). Is it just me or does that not sound like a cover up, why would installing a newer driver for a peice of hard ware start a virus. When I was trying to install the hardware their was no sign of any virus. I reckon he's somehow managed to delete some file which is needed to boot the computer. Surely some of the documents on the computer could have been saved? What do you think.

sounds like a cover up to me.

I think they installed the virus them serlves.
I think yoru Aunt and Uncle if smart would seek legal action or atleast threaten it claiming important documents that could not be recovered were lost because of the unprofesional manner of their employees.

I think they stuck a floppy into the computer floppy had a virus and messed up the system.

If I were you I'd check to see if the HDD is the original HDD that came with the system.

Hey I downloaded the iso and burnt it to cd then copied the CD to hard disk (as recommended). I ran setup.exe and selected install longhorn, chose an empty FAT partition and set it to go. About 5 blocks from finishing WinPE section of install it says file not found, then press OK and it exits. I converted the partition to NTFS and still have the same problem !! I'm running XP pro as installation host OS. How can i fix it ?

On another note my laptop is now dead thanks to longhorn :( it had the same problem and then i tried doing a boot from CD option, generated same error but also overwrote some cruical XP component rendering laptop unbootable. /me reaches for XP install cd :S

sorry to hear man, you should have knew the risks you were taking with an alpha OS to install it on a laptop. If some files are missing maybe you downloaded a defected iso of build 4008.
