Only fantasy that I have is that you will actually turn out to be a real woman, and not a middle-aged overweight man sitting in his mothers' basement. If you can fullfill that, then I will be thrilled. ;)

Wanna-be's and roleplayers are a dime a dozen. I find much more interest and validity in those that can accurately and genuinely convey who they truly are over this medium, without reducing themselves to an act or sham. Take it for what it's worth.

Hi I have a Compaq Presario 5030 and I reformatted it form ntsf back to fat32.. now I need to get my cdrom drivers onto the c drive so my D: drive will run in order for me to be able to install my OS. Does anyone know a good driver for this purpose.. universal or case specific.

I have an Atapi Cd Rom Drive.

Any help would be greatly appriciated.

I see everyone welcomed ya but failed to help ya.
as long as the 4 pin power plugs are in from the power supply and the ide cables are connected just simply insert the CD into the CDROm
if still it doesnt boot
hold down the F8 key untill your in the bios
and change the boot order to 1 Floppy 2 CDRom 3 HDD

Sorry about that I didn't realize you were trying to help him reformat, which means you do need the cd-rom first. I thought you were telling him what boot order he should have his computer in. ;)

I am having a rough day. Had a processor design class midterm where they put a circuit design of one component of a processor and ask you what its function is and label all of the input and output wires.

Yeah until I get my grade back. ;) Well I did get the circuit design, it turned out being a 2-bit full adder, but there are like a million components of a processor that look the same and almost do the same functions, but it is extremely hard to know them off the top of your head without looking at a schematic. Oh well time for a four hour sleep and then another hellish test.
