I am interested in using my PS2 controller for my PC. I know there are some converters out there, can someone recommend them to me?

How do they work, meaning will the PS2 contoller be then recognized as regular comp game pads in which I can use for any game that supports a gamepad?

Yeah, they recognize the ps2 as regular gamepads I think.

why dont you just buy a new controler for the PC that looks like the PS2 controller

Cause he's already used to the ps2 controller. And it's a good controller. And a new PC controller would cost more than just the adapter. And he can use his other ps2 controllers too.

Same design, but those $10 controllers are crap. They break real easily and are constructed badly.

The lik-sang converter looks good since it has 2 player supports that might seem like a good idea to have on the computer. I think the company is overseas though.

Yeah like diskopo said, the Sony PS2 controller is extremely solid and comfortable. Beforehand I was considering getting a Logitec wireless rumblepad, but since my roommates have a PS2 in the room, I might as well bring in my controller from home since an extra one is needed.

I use a gravis gamepad pro. Looks exactly like the standard playstation controller. But your controller probably has the two little control sticks in the middle also turbo right?

I've got the one Paul mentioned. Apart from an the rumble not turning off on Fifa 2003 I've had no problems with it at all.

Its excellent for LOTR: ROTK ;)
